Responsibilities
The treasurer-tax collector bills and collects property taxes and safeguards and invests public funds. The treasurer also serves county school and community college districts.
Investment, debt and pension committees have distinct responsibilities. Committee membership does not mean Matthew Jennings personally attends every meeting; the records also identify alternates.
